Fine Art Wedding Photography by Philadelphia Wedding Photographer, John Dolores
There are different definitions of fine art photography and fine art wedding photography. As Wikipedia defines it: Fine art photography is photography created in accordance with the vision of the artist as photographer. Fine art photography stands in contrast to representational photography, such as photojournalism, which provides a documentary visual account of specific subjects and events, literally re-presenting objective reality rather than the subjective intent of the photographer; and commercial photography, the primary focus of which is to advertise products or services.
My definition stems from the old world definition given to fine artists who were commissioned by their clients to create portraits that would hang on their walls as works of art. images that come straight out of camera without the photographer’s interpretation are only partly done. The photographer’s intent must be made clear by careful editing of the image to communicate that intent. The culmination of the photographer’s vision of your wedding is the wedding album. Don’t settle for any less. You can find additional images here
